2008 Decade NEHA AEC Scholarship Application Q and A

Who is eligible? NEHA members, affiliates, and prospective members.

How do I apply? Apply here: Decade NEHA AEC Scholarship

When will applications be accepted? Applications will be accepted from April 15th through May 15th.

How much will be awarded? Fifteen $700 scholarships!

What will the dollar amount cover? One full conference registration ($495.00) $205.00 in travel expenses

What type of travel expenses will the travel allowance cover? A $205.00 check will be provided for the recipient to use s needed. i.e. hotel, partial airfare, meals, etc. No travel receipts will be required

How will the selection be made? At the end of the application period a panel will review all completed submissions and select 15 recipients. Panel members will include: Maria Mayes, Director of Marketing Decade Software Nelson Fabian, Executive Director or his designee TBD, NEHA or Industry Representative Applications will be reviewed and considered based on essay response, agency need, focus area, etc.

How will the recipients be recognized? Decade will recognize each of the 15 scholarship recipients by presenting a certificate at the exhibit booth during the AEC. Photos will be taken of each of the recipients as they receive their certificate. Decade and NEHA will also congratulate the recipients in future news releases.
